Jimmy Witherspoon - The Blues, The Whole Blues And Nothing But The Blues (1992)

Jimmy Witherspoon nacido en Gurdon, Arkansas fue uno de los cantantes de blues con más categoria de fines de los años 40 y su estilo elegante como versátil hizo que se cruzara entre el blues, el jazz y el rock. 

En 1971, lideró un álbum con el gran cantante británico de blues-rock Eric Burdon. "The Blues, The Whole Blues And Nothing But The Blues" fue grabado en Inglaterra y lanzado originalmente en 1992, siendo ésta la última grabación de estudio Jimmy Witherspoon, produciéndole un cáncer de garganta en Los Angeles en 1997.
